We have ooths for many species incubating right now, but cannot do "hold" lists, so please keep checking back on the Mantids For Sale page!
*NEW!* We now have videos of many of the species that we sell!
We thought it would be nice for folks to see videos of their potential pets in action, since it is difficult to get a "feel" for an animal without seeing, visually, what they are really like, so with permission of a dear friend & fellow hobbyist, Henry K. (Precarious333 on YouTube), we have linked his video work of many of the species of mantids shown on our site! We cannot express our gratitude in simple words, so instead we will ask you, our dear customers, to please watch any & all videos that interest you,
and subscribe to Henry's channel if you like them! Please give him the kudos he deserves! The macro views & audio (Henry's original compositions are featured in most of the videos) are a visual & auditory delight!

Our goal is to provide the best customer service,
A Subdivision of Green Oasis Reptiles
Here you will find everything you will need for your pet mantid's needs, including feeder (and pet!) roaches & roach supplies. Mantis availability depends on their typical breeding season, but since many mantids are routinely cultivated in captivity, we are more and more able to provide them year-round.
What species of Praying Mantis do we have for sale?
We have many species available, and we are adding more exotic mantids to our collection all of the time. Click here to check for current availablility.
To the right, you will see a Giant Shield Mantis (Rhombodera stalli) affectionately called "Monkey Face". She passed away some time ago, but remains forever in our hearts. She was a true gem and very sociable...always raising her arms to be picked up!
What is our favorite Praying Mantis species?
For the beginner, I highly recommend the Ghost Mantis. They are small, eat readily, and generally have very few problems with molt or humidity. Most species are fairly easy to care for, but some do require a little extra attention to their environment & care. In addition to reading the "General Mantis Caresheet", we urge you to read a bit about the Mantis species that you are interested in, so that you can be more acquainted with their care. We are still working on the "Advanced Mantis Caresheets", so if you have a question about a species not listed, please contact us!
Why do all of your products say "Green Oasis Reptiles"?
Our legal business name is Green Oasis Reptiles. Little did we think when we registered as a business in Oklahoma that we would be expanding so soon into other areas of exotics!
